It’s not hard to do things for those you love. To know THEE one and only Keesha C. Vinson was to know an incredibly fearless woman. Everyone should have been so blessed to have met her. She had an infectious laugh, a caring spirit, and a generous heart. That is why when I told her I was going to launch the Tasha Brown Foundation last year (2023), she donated right away. She knew I wanted to help breast cancer survivors start or grow their businesses, so she donated to the cause.
I started the organization to support Keesha and her entrepreneurial dreams. But what she gave me, us, and this organization in the donation she made was a legacy… a lifetime of giving to others so that her legacy can live on.
Keesha's journey was one of resilience, hope, and constant growth. Even in the face of her diagnosis, she never stopped dreaming. She believed in empowering others, and one of her most passionate dreams was to see breast cancer survivors succeed—not only in their health journeys but in their entrepreneurial ones as well. She knew that entrepreneurship is not just about business; it’s about reclaiming power and independence after the hardest of battles.
Today, I’m honored to announce the opening of the Breast Factor Fund, a grant dedicated to supporting breast cancer survivors in their entrepreneurial journeys. This grant is made possible because of Keesha’s generosity, and it stands as a tribute to the legacy of a woman who always believed in the power of possibility.
The Breast Factor Fund will offer micro-grants of up to $500 to breast cancer survivors who are working to start or grow their businesses. Whether you’re in the early stages of turning your dream into reality or seeking support to expand, this grant is here to help you along the way.
In Keesha’s memory, we aim to empower others just as she empowered those around her—through kindness, through action, and through a belief in the strength that each of us carries within.
Applications are now open, and we invite you to apply for the Breast Factor Fund Grant. If you are a breast cancer survivor pursuing entrepreneurship, this is your chance to receive the support you deserve to help you grow your business and continue your journey toward success.
Apply now, and let’s continue to carry forward Keesha’s legacy of generosity and empowerment.
Together, we can create a future where dreams are not only imagined but achieved. Thank you, Keesha, for showing us that no matter the challenges we face, a good woman can never be kept down.
